Hello all, I'm not sure how many people are still keeping an eye on this community, but I thought I might as well introduce myself. I go by EE or Layla and I'm a huge fan of Sondheim and of the musical Company, in particular the 2011 New York Philharmonic production with Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone, and I've written some fanfiction based on that production and their interpretations of the characters.

Title: Impact
Rating: High T to low M for character death, injuries, SERIOUS angst, self-destructive behaviour, and some sex (nothing too explicit) in later chapters
Pairing(s): Joanne/Larry, Joanne/Bobby

Title: Impact: The Other Side.
Rating: High T to low M for injuries, angst, self-destructive behaviour, and some sex
Pairing(s): Joanne/Larry, Joanne/Bobby

Those two are still currently updating, and I have about a half a dozen other Company fics in the works all based on the New York Philharmonic production, including at least one crossover, so keep an eye out for those in the future.

I haven't seen Company fan fiction here before - likely because I rather doubt that it exists - but having written some myself, I assume that positing it here is all right. I do hope all of you appreciate it!

Title: Drink To That

Character/Pairing: Joanne, Bobby, Larry, Bobby/Joanne, Larry/Joanne, implied Bobby/Kathy
Summary: Joanne, between husbands.

Hey, does anyone here have a .pdf file of the song "The Ladies Who Lunch"? I'm seriously considering using it as an audition piece for Into the Woods. Thanks!

Company has an airdate!

February 20th, 2008, kittens!

(I'm sure it goes without saying that someone will record this, right?)

In an attempt to make this community a little more active and comprehensive, here are a few bits of news about alumni of the recent revival...

- Barbara Walsh will be singing at the Make-A-Wish fundraiser Broadway Sings the Phone Book on November 12th. If I lived closer, I would so be there.

- Fred Rose and Leenya Rideout are both in Cyrano de Bergerac, which opened on Broadway on Thursday. Opening night curtain call and party pictures are here; you can see Fred with his amusing long hair in the curtain call pictures, and there's a nice shot of him from the party.

- Kristin Huffman is still writing her hilarious column for BroadwayWorld; she takes a break from Company this week to write about Halloween.

- Keith Buterbaugh is currently touring as the Judge in Doyle's Sweeney Todd. Check out the schedule here to see if he'll be creeping it up in your town.

- Several other cast members will return to Broadway soon. Raul Esparza's Pinter play The Homecoming opens on December 13th, and I believe Elizabeth Stanley is scheduled to be in Cry-Baby next year (it's currently at the La Jolla Playhouse).

And, of course, if you prefer your alumni from the 1995 revival, Debra Monk (Curtains), Boyd Gaines (Pygmalion), Danny Burstein (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Charlotte d'Amboise (A Chorus Line) are all currently on Broadway. I can attest to 3/4 of them being excellent in their roles. :)

A week ago I emailed PBS about when they were expecting to air "Company". This was their reply:'

Thank you for writing regarding our programming.

The director of the television production has completed the
post-production work and the broadcast of 'Company' is most likely to be
scheduled for winter/spring of 2008.

Feel free to write us again near the end of the year and at that time we
might be able to give you a more exact broadcast time/date.
